2004 HOBI Award Winner: The Home Builders Association of Connecticut named this new home as the best energy efficient and green home of 2004. The home was built using structural insulated panels (SIP’s), which is one good way to incorporate a high level of continuous insulation and very low envelope air leakage. The traditional four square design allowed for corner rooms with two window walls per room and abundant natural light.
