KS97368Few traditional home builders and not even many green builders design and build homes to be green AND also as comfortable and healthy to live in as the homes BPC builds for homeowners in western Connecticut and Westchester, New York.

Every home BPC Green Builders builds is specifically and intentionally designed and engineered to be green, offer high performance and also be:

Healthier and More Comfortable

BPC Builds Homes That are More Comfortable

Because we very carefully design, plan, engineer and construct our custom homes, BPC homes are always more comfortable than conventional homes. We do this using a variety of green and other building strategies that result in our homes being:

  • Free of annoying drafts from windows, doors, through walls, from ductwork, etc.
  • Consistent and comfortable in temperature and humidity within each room regardless of where in the room you are standing
  • Consistent and comfortable in temperature and humidity in ALL rooms
  • Zone controlled for temperature and humidity if you wish some rooms to be different in temperature and humidity than others
  • Indoor air quality that is usually better than outside air

BPC Custom Built Homes are Also Healthier

Some of what makes our homes green and comfortable also make our homes healthier. They are healthier for the average person, and we also build healthier and safer homes for people with special or unusual health or safety concerns.  Our homes are healthier because of these and other reasons:

  • Excellent indoor air quality with advanced filtering and ventilation systems that remove pollen and other allergens while ventilating the home with fresh air
  • Optimum temperature and humidity for those with breathing issues
  • Homes built to prevent mold and mildew
  • Use of hypoallergenic and non-toxic, non-noxious, non-irritating building materials based on the needs of most people
  • Use of certain types of building materials based on unusual health needs
  • Radon testing and mitigation systems
